I sat down the other day and started doing some character sketches in pencil based on celebrity references. I like the designs of this lady the most…probably cause she was the most attractive.You know what guys, drawing unattractive people is incredibly hard for me. I think because naturally my hand wants to do smooth lucid marks but handling some people forces you to make unbalanced ugly marks…which makes me upset. I think this might be the reason I never committed myself to being a full on character artist cause I’d be forced to draw ugly people too. Well that was a tad vain but…I keeps it real in the Ville.
