Well how bou dahhh. Ya boy done got himself a Google deal and now he actin like a big shot. Takin lavish trips, buyin art supplies and getting an Amazon Audibles subscription haha. But seriously I was fortunate enough recently to get contacted by Google’s Immersive Arts team to do concept work for a top secret project. So far it’s really been a good learning experience and I’m beginning to see how versatile I am. I’m doing some things on this project that I’ve never done and it’s exciting to rise to the occasion and grind it out!

In other news I’m still committed to doing paintings and studies daily. I often times take the ferry to work where I have roughly 20 minutes to paint something on the way there. I’ve included sheets of those little paintings below and have expanded upon a couple to add to my portfolio. It’s really exciting to see all of these little color ideas as small pictures together. This way in their tiny tot form you can see which ones really have the bones to go the distance.

As far as my personal life… it’s been pretty good. I feel like I’ve been growing a lot and working on my communication in all my relationships. I have a tendency to withdrawal when I’m upset about something and I’m pushing harder than ever to get all of my thoughts and opinions in the open and make the space safe enough for the others as well. It sounds simple but it’s really a challenge for me.

Last off I bought an e-scoot to help get around the city once I leave the ferry. I’ve gotten some shit for it but I love that thing! (It’s the Xiaomi Mi Scooter, basically the Bird)
