Jinkies it’s been foreveeeeeer. What have I been up to since June…welllllllll a whole lot. I’ve been working at a small music label as illustrator/ animator for their music artist. Meaning my day to day has consisted of story boarding music videos, painting album cover and now creating a full graphic novel as promotional material for local rapper. Needless to say my hands have been full at work but what’s really occupied my time is hatching my own entity “GMS Channel.” Over the past months have been pouring a ton of my free time hours into starting my own illustration/animation brand. It’s taken months longer than I anticipated and number of early failures but my next project under “GMS” is looking to be a winner. It turns out that doing fully fleshed out 2D animations by yourself is INCREDIBLY time consuming. I’m now pushing for an audio experience that is more achievable as an individual and using my illustration talents to promote the audio.
