Despite putting up mostly digital painting I actually do draw quite a lot. Actually waaayyy more than I paint. I only recently started digitally painted about a year ago and for the first 2 and a half months I was so scared of applying color directly that all I did was color brush paint overs from greyscale ( true story bro). Now I am confident enough in my color usage to go back heavily to my bread and butter “pencil and paper.” It turns out that’s what my portfolio is lacking now (crazy!, at some point it was nothing but sketches and props) It’s interesting how that goes. Here are some props I was working on at Starbucks this evening.
