If you are not a local to the Atlanta area then you do not know the atrocity that occurred yesterday within a matter of 2 hours. Let me explain, there was a small flurry of snow (2 inches), it stuck andddddddd ALL HELL BROKE LOOSE!!!! Wrecks everywhere, Car on top of cars, 12 hour commutes for a 20 minute distance, people abandoning there cars on the roads and children forced to sleep at school cause no bus would dare to take them home. Yep 2 inches but no salt. GA is ill prepared for this whole shebang. Nevertheless I found opportunity in our changing environment to go out and sketch a little bush in the snow. I didn’t want to stay out long cause I’m black and naturally despise the cold (and deep pools of water) but I managed to go out and scribble this on my phone. I love how gorgeous the scarlets can pop out against the white snow.
